New York City- Best Ever!

This past weekend a friend and I took 5 kids to NYC! That's right- 2 adults, 3 thirteen year olds, and 2 eight year olds. It was the best trip yet! Here's how we pulled it off:
#1- The Pierre Hotel - We rented a city suite with a deluxe room. It was awesome! 3 bedrooms/2 bathrooms essentially with the 2 rollaways we set up for the little kids in the living room. Perfect Location on Central Park and next door to FAO plus a Free hotel driver to get you where you need to go. I booked through Leading Hotels of the World so I could get free breakfast and 4 pm checkout.
#2 Tea at Bergdorfs next door was great- book on your phone thru the OPEN TABLE app to ensure no wait. my eight year old actually made stickers from a kit we bought at FAO while I had tea. The childrens department is on the same floor as the restaurant too. Perfect!
#3 NY Zoo at our doorstep. The Pierre is right across from the entrance to the zoo in central park. Lots of artist, hot dog/ice cream/donut stands right at the front door of the hotel. Great for a quick treat or when one set of kids is starving and the others are still asleep. :)
#4 The kitchen downstairs at the Plaza. Enter on the side entrance and take the escalator down for the coolest eatery in Manhattan. Amazing everything- fired pizzas, mac n cheese, sliders, salads, and amazing cupcakes. Very fun- laid back atmosphere.
#5 Dylans Dylans Dylans- no trip is complete without a trip to Dylans Candy Bar. We stopped first before we even got to the hotel. Candy kept everyone occupied during checkin and unpacking.
